Final Fantasy IV Complete Collection poster

Anyone played Final Fantasy IV on SNES? Did you missed playing this game 2 decades ago? Now you can play this game on PSP.

Final Fantasy IV Complete Collection contains the original Final Fantasy IV that was enhanced digitally for PSP.

(Spoiler alert…)

This game is about the story of Cecil Harvey, formerly a Dark Knight turned Paladin when he was tested in Mt. Ordeals. Cecil’s love interest is the white mage from Baron named Rosa Farrell, who were friends turned lovers.

He is also accompanied by a Dragoon who was also Rosa’s childhood friend, Kain Highwind, who was in turn, being controlled by the warlock  and Cecil’s brother, Golbez also known as Theodore Harvey, which started a tension between two men.

Cecil Harvey was also accompanied by the twin mages, Palom and Porom, a summoner named Rydia, engineer named Cid Polledina, a monk named Yang Fang Leiden, a ninja and the prince of Eblan named Edge, and a bard who is also a prince of Damcyan named Edward.

Those individuals guide Cecil in his journey to stop Golbez, who was also under control by a lunarian Zemus.

(End of Spoilers…)

The gameplay of Final Fantasy IV is quite similar to some Final Fantasy games that have Active Time Battle feature, but it has no limit breaks like the newer Final Fantasies.

This was the first Final Fantasy that I played that can have 5 characters in your party simultaneously. This is also the FF game that also have hidden passages in the edges that are not-so noticeable, even some FF players could not see it.

This game also have a gallery in the menu that have two computer-generated trailers of the Final Fantasy IV, and the After Years.

For now, I haven’t played the After Years, but I will give you an update in this post later on.
